28 Days of Art - Exploring the Artistic side of ME!

This was a failed piece, but did come up from this experiment.

Welcome!

Since I got the new tablet and stylus, I felt the urge to make something with it and I had an interesting experience with it. Coincidentally, February was right around the corner, so I decided to give it a try. First week, I was trying out the Sketchbook app ad seeing what can be done with it.

This one was fun and so simple to make.

That week went really great and I was feeling quite pleased with how the pieces came out. Folks seemed to like them and my social media grew TREMENDOUSLY! With this boost to confidence, I headed into the next week. This time, I decided to go with an actual theme. The for is was Light and Shadow.

Felt like a real pro after this!

Not gonna lie, I had a bit of fumbles in this week. There was one piece that wasn’t great (to me, anyway), but got something from it. The rest of the art came out pretty good, in general. Third week had the theme Rorschach, or Ink Blot Test. Lots of great work in this week!

So many great works from this week.

Nice Right?

I wrapped up the last 8 days of February with an “anything goes’ spree. By this point, I was fully able to really do things with Sketchbook. I tried different techniques and layers styles with pleasing results. All in all, these last few days came out the best!

One of my favorites…

Coming out of the 28 days later, I found that making things like this is a LOT of fun and a cool way to express myself. i don’t know if I can consider myself an actual artist, but at least i have some cool art to look back on with pride!. If you’d like to see the Time lapses I have with me making these pieces, check out the link below for my YouTube Playlist. Hopefully, I’ll come back and make more art throughout the year. Now back to work!

28 of art and discovery!
